We are now looking for a 

 

Assembler

 

to join our our agile and dynamic Rubber Production Team working for a better future. The position is temporary with a duration of 6 months. The location for the position is Porriño, Spain.

 

What you will be doing

 

In this position, your work will include the deburring, cleaning and mounting in the fitting area. On a typical day, you might start making assemblies and finish packing them for dispatch. You will not be working on this alone - even though the work requires a high level of independence, you will have the support from your supervisor and your teammates. 

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have a good understanding of manufacturing standards and experience working with your hands. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from other manufacturing environments, and knowledge of manufacturing processes. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you have a good attitude and willingness to learn.

 

As Assembler, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Configuration of tools and accessories 
  • Use of measuring equipment 
  • Quality control of own work 
  • Assembly work following assembly instructions 
  • Use of engineering machinery [.g.e.column drills, hand tools, band saws, etc.] 
  • Painting, Deburring of machined parts 
  • Use of overhead cranes 
  • Communicate with all operations teams to ensure proactive actions are taken to comply with OTIF. 
  • Continuous improvement related to processes and procedures. 
  • All tasks performed must be performed safely by following H&S safety procedures. 
  • Any other function that may be necessary.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

 

  • Manual Skills
  • Experience working with engineering drawings
  • Experience in industrial assemblies
