Design Support Engineer

We are now looking for a
Design Support Engineer
to join our Lubrication Systems team. The position is permanent. The location for the position is in Porriño, Spain.
What will you be doing
In this position, your work will include the creation of schemas electrical, 2Ds development, basic control software and the commissioning of lubrication systems. On a typical day, you will create the drawings and schemas required for quotation and required for manufacturing. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a certain level of independency, as you will have the support of the current member of the team, with a long experience in this product.
As Design Support Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Development of basic software for the control of lubrication equipment.
- Creation of product drawings.
- Creation of drawings for quotation.
- Creation of manufacturing drawings.
- Collaboration between different sites to provide drawing for quotations and manufacturing drawings.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have some autonomy during the work activities and experience from working with 2D CAD tools. For this, we request the following knowledge:
- Knowledge in Electrical
- Knowledge of PLC programming
- 2D design tools by electrical schemas (preferably AUTOCAD ELECTRICAL)
- Office package.
- English (at least basic level).
You will shine in this role, when you have:
- Experience with the design characteristics of the Lubrication systems
- Experience with operational conditions of the Lubrication systems
- Experience in testing and adjusting of the Lubrication systems.
- Experience with the way of working of the customers.
