Machine Operator
We are now looking for a
Machine Operator
to join our team working for a better future and join our agile and dynamic production team. The position is permanent and the location for the position is Porriño, Spain.
What you will be doing
In this position, your work will include machining and deburring. On a typical day, you can machine one or multiple parts. You won't work on this alone, although the job requires a high level of independence, you will have the support of your supervisor and your teammates.
To make us the best match, we hope you have a good understanding of manufacturing standards and experience working with CNC machines. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience in other manufacturing environments and knowledge of manufacturing processes. For you to succeed in the role, we expect you to have a good attitude and willingness to learn.
As a Machine Operator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Set-up and basic care of the machine tool
- Machining of components according to specification
- CNC Machine programming & editing
- Configuring tools & accessories
- Use of measuring equipment
- Quality control of one's own work
- Use of engineering machinery [i.e., drills, hand tools, band saws, etc.]
- Deburring
- Using overhead cranes
- Communicate with all operations teams to ensure proactive steps are taken to comply with OTIF
- Continuous improvement related to processes and procedures
- All tasks performed must be performed safely following health and safety procedures
- Any other tasks that may be necessary
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Knowledge of CNC machining
- Experience working with engineering drawings
