 We are now looking for a Purchaser to join our Purchase team. The position is permanent. The location for the position is in Porriño, Spain.

 

What will you be doing

In this position, your work will include sourcing materials. On a typical day, you might be starting at 8 and end the day at 17. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support your dept colleagues and line manager. For us to be the best match, we expect you to have understanding in English and experience from working with SAP.

 

As purchaser, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

- Place orders with selected suppliers and follow up on them

- Control and stock management

- Ensure the supply of goods avoiding stock ruptures and get lower costs

 

We expect you to have:

-SAP knowledge/user, special purchase and inventory transactions

-Ensure the supply of goods avoiding stock ruptures and get lower costs

-Language: English level must be fluent, written and spoken

-High experience in similar charge

-Drawing knowledge: medium

-Experience of Commercial Management

-Contract review and awareness

-Advanced communication skills

-Management of protocols and negotiation techniques with suppliers

 

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our suppliers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to journey when necessary, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.

In addition to the core team, you will be working closely with other departments of the plant, as Production, Sales, Warehouse, Quality or Technical Office.
