We are now looking for a

 

QEHS Manager

 

to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent, and the preferred location is in Porriño – Spain.

 

What you will be doing

 

The QESH Manager will coordinate the quality, environment, safety and health functions at the SLS Spain plant. Applying high quality skills, he/she will assess existing systems, methods and processes, identifying new needs and improvements, and ensure compliance with QESH systems and regulations relevant to products and production facilities.

 

As QEHS Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Achievement of KPI targets
  • Continuous improvement of quality, environmental, health and safety processes.
  • Ensure Business Unit QEHS regulatory & standards compliance
  • Conduct QEHS internal audit.
  • Work in close cooperation with SLS teams to secure QEHS developments
  • Securing creation and sharing of Lessons learnt inside the organization.
  • Implement actions needed to achieve the Decarbonization targets.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Technical background 
  • Ideally with an Engineering degree (industrial, production or comparable).
  • Proven experience (min. 5 years) of QEHS management system and business process development.
  • Qualified internal auditor for ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 standards.
  • True team player who enjoys facilitating continuous improvement.
  • Proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Reporting & analysing skills
  • Training & development skills
  • Leadership with ability to lead teams based on trust.
  • Accountability for business impact and act to adjust when performance is not as expected.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Some travel is required. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%,
