We are now looking for a
Quality Engineer Manager Bearing Centre
to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Porriño, Spain.
What you will be doing
In this role, you oversee operational quality assurance processes and teams, ensuring products and services meet organizational and regulatory standards of Wartsila and our customers of Bearing Centre.
As Project Manager Bearing Centre, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Leads, coordinates and supervises operational quality assurance teams, coordinating tasks and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Implements quality control procedures to enhance product reliability and adherence to industry regulations.
- Monitors and reports on the quality performance of products and services, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborates with other units to integrate quality management practices across the organization.
- Conducts quality audits and reviews, providing recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Experience with hydrodynamic bearings in the energy, mining and industrial markets.
- Knowledge of quality standards applied to hydrodynamic bearings.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and leading projects.
- Knowledge of inspection plan, elaboration of project manufacturing processes and management of inspections with customers.
- Level of English for full professional development
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 20%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
