We are now looking for a Sales Support to join our Sales Support team. The position is temporary for 12 months. The location for the position is in Porriño, Spain.

 

What will you be doing

In this position, your work will include the management of quotations and orders, ensuring that customer requirements are fulfilled and that Wärtsilä targets are achieved. You will be part of the spare parts team, handling these products closely with another colleagues.

You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency.

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have English knowledge and experience from working with people before. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from working with Microsoft Office package, SAP and gained naval sector knowledge. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you to have a good attitude and a desire to learn and grow with us. 

 

As Sales Support, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Ensure that solutions are technically feasible and fulfil customer requirements
  • Conduct bid management. Evaluate inquiries, technical /environmental risks and checking cost calculations considering agreed targets
  • Perform technical assistance to Sales and customers
  • Be a pro-active partner of the customer before & during the offering process, follow up the tender and strive for closing the order
  • Check that customer, installation, equipment, material are correctly created and extended in SAP
  • Create the order in SAP, according to PO from customer and information from sales responsible
  • Support other departments and share information
  • Send order confirmation to customers

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

In this role, some travel could be required to meet with our customers or colleagues around the world.
