Main Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain the plant during the shift according to company policies, procedures, and operation profile/plan.
- Assist the Shift Supervisor as required.
- Follow all procedures and instructions related to start-up, shut-down, and normal operations of the power plant systems.
- Maintain all operation records, including logs, checklists, and running records, according to guidelines.
- Coach and mentor operators and general labor.
- Assist in taking corrective action during system operational disturbances.
- Communicate effectively the condition of all plant equipment, any deviation/disturbance from normal conditions, and other performance issues to the Shift Supervisor and colleagues.
- Monitor all alarms/parameters of engines and auxiliaries, analyze trend data related to the equipment, and perform proper follow-up.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including isolation, lockout, and tag-out, and perform emergency procedures to protect personnel and equipment in case of damage or failure of safety devices.
- Utilize all tools, equipment, and accessories in a manner that maximizes their operating life.
- Provide a complete handover to the relieving shift operator, highlighting any operational disturbances, malfunctions, or abnormalities.
