We are now looking for a 

Project Manager

to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Paris la Defense.

What you will be doing

Project Manager is accountable of projects during execution phase until end of warranty. Project Manager is aiming towards world class project management and he/she looks after customer satisfaction, on time delivery, project financial result and risks and overall QHSE by leading project team in matrix organization. Project work is performed in compliance with Company Project Order to Delivery Process and Management Governance Model.

As Project Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage execution of Energy Customer delivery projects towards project its Objectives. 
• Build high performing project team and foster team spirit and members wellbeing.
• Lead and coach the project team (onshore and offshore) members involved in execution of projects. 
• Lead project planning and project execution.
• Lead contract management and requirement management. 
• Lead project engineering, purchasing and subcontracting activities.
• Manage project risks and opportunities effectively, plan actions proactively to mitigate risks.
• Maintaining customer relationship thru exceptional service and customer communication.
• Proactively connect with customers and listen for feedback.
• Demonstrate leadership by following Wärtsilä Project Management Methodology and Business Directives.
• Apply Project Management Best Practices.
• Cooperate with sales in dedicated sales teams.
• Drive Wärtsilä Purpose and demonstrate Wärtsilä values

Development responsibilities:

• Participate in developing and maintaining of Wärtsilä Way of Working
• Give and collect feedback in projects.
• Collect and give feedback to persons involved in project execution in order to ensure people’s growth.
• Collect lessons learned throughout the project.

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

• More than 7 years Project experience. 
• Leadership capabilities.
• Commercial understanding and contract management skills. 
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. 
• Influencing power and problem solver mind-set. 
• Entrepreneurial attitude, goal oriented with skills to develop solutions for the customers and drive to deliver the extra mile.
• Multicultural sensitivity, ability to build relations and lead multi-cultural teams. 
• Strategic forward thinker, positive mind-set and proactive way of working. 
• Good skills in English & French (both written and spoken). 
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering (or similar).

Chef de Projet Energie 

Responsabilités

Le Chef de Projet est responsable des projets pendant la phase d’exécution jusqu’à la fin de la garantie. Le Chef de Projet vise une gestion de projet de classe mondiale et veille à la satisfaction du client, à la livraison à temps, aux résultats financiers du projet et aux risques, ainsi qu’à la QHSE globale en dirigeant l’équipe de projet dans une organisation matricielle. Le travail du projet est réalisé en conformité avec le processus de commande à livraison de l’entreprise et le modèle de gouvernance de gestion.

Principales responsabilités:

• Diriger et gérer l’exécution des projets de livraison d’énergie client vers leurs objectifs.
• Construire une équipe de projet performante et favoriser l’esprit d’équipe et le bien-être des membres.
• Diriger et coacher les membres de l’équipe de projet (onshore et offshore) impliqués dans l’exécution des projets.
• Diriger la planification et l’exécution du projet.
• Diriger la gestion des contrats et des exigences.
• Diriger les activités d’ingénierie, d’achat et de sous-traitance du projet.
• Gérer efficacement les risques et les opportunités du projet, planifier des actions de manière proactive pour atténuer les risques.
• Maintenir la relation client grâce à un haut niveau de service et une communication client constante.
• Se connecter de manière proactive avec les clients et écouter leurs retours.
• Faire preuve de leadership en suivant la méthodologie de gestion de projet Wärtsilä et les directives commerciales.
• Appliquer les meilleures pratiques de gestion de projet.
• Coopérer avec les ventes dans les équipes de vente dédiées.
• Promouvoir la mission et  les valeurs de Wärtsilä.

Pour réussir sur ce poste vous devez avoir: 

• Plus de 7 ans d’expérience en gestion de projet.
• Capacités de leadership.
• Compréhension commerciale et compétences en gestion de contrats.
• Excellentes compétences en communication, négociation et présentation.
• Pouvoir d’influence et esprit de résolution de problèmes.
• Attitude entrepreneuriale, orientée vers les objectifs avec des compétences pour développer des solutions pour les clients et la volonté de faire un effort supplémentaire.
• Sensibilité multiculturelle, capacité à établir des relations et à diriger des équipes multiculturelles.
• Vision stratégique, esprit positif et manière de travailler proactive.
• Bonnes compétences en anglais et en français (écrit et parlé).
• Licence ou Master en ingénierie (ou équivalent).
