Account Manager
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our dynamic Sales Central AMER Team, for the Energy Bussines. The vacancy will cover clients in Ecuador and Peru.
Main Location: Quito - Ecuador or Lima, Peru
Model: Hybrid
As an Account Manager, you will focus on these responsibilities:
- Maintain and further develop present assigned customer relationships and identify and develop relationships with potential customers.
- Proactively engage with customers and internal stakeholders to grow sales for non-agreement customers and if possible to convert these non-agreement customers into customers covered by service agreements within Wartsila portfolio.
- Propose and sell new solutions, and upgrades to customers and ensure that the value is understood, explained and products and services are sold and delivered to the customer
- Proactively plan sales for assigned customers to maximize Wartsila's share of wallet.
- Proactively share gained market insights and customer knowledge internally to develop regional customer understanding.
- Ensure a well-working feedback loop with Field Services to maximize the number of leads and ensure leads are addressed and captured
- Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information
- Ensure all customer-related information & opportunities are recorded in CRM and maintain accurate customer records among assigned customer accounts
- Develop and execute the account plan and sales strategy for the customers assigned.
- Support BDM, Lifecycle in agreement and service project sales
- Maintain effective communication with the line manager about the progress of management and any anomaly presented.
- Collaborate and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, formats and procedures.
- Comply with the internal standards of safety, occupational health and the environment, and the legal requirements of the local Wartsila Company.
- Comply with the rules, guidelines and internal policies of the local Wartsila Company and the Wärtsilä Corporation.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Professional with an engineering degree, Mechanical,/Electrical/Industrial or related fields.
- 10 years’ experience within Energy Industry, LATAM market preferable.
- Commercial skills will be a plus.
- Proven sales experience in the oil and gas, mining, marine, and/or energy sector.
- Knowledge of CRM software and proficiency in Data Quality.
- Advance knowledge about stakeholders of the energy sector in Ecuador and Peru.
- High proficiency in English and Spanish
