  • Lead day-to-day operational coordination locally within the assigned responsibility area.

  • Serve as the main contact person for customers and internal stakeholders during service execution.

  • Monitor progress, follow up, and report work order status to customers and relevant stakeholders.

  • Support cost control and project cost awareness, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.

  • Maintain tools under your responsibility in good condition, ensuring preventive maintenance is completed as required.

  • Ensure all work is executed according to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) guidelines and customer site procedures.

  • Work in accordance with Wärtsilä’s processes, values, and management system requirements.

What you bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).

  • English B2 or higher (spoken and written).

  • Proven experience in operations coordination, including planning/scheduling, resource allocation, and cost follow-up for service or project work.

  • Experience leading or coordinating technical personnel (directly or operationally), including remote coordination.

  • Strong customer orientation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Solid attention to detail, structure, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Availability to travel 1–3 days per month.

Nice to have

  • Experience with medium-speed engines / 4-stroke environments.

  • Knowledge of Wärtsilä products and field service processes.
