We are looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join our Sales Support team at Wärtsilä who is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our Sales and Agreement Managers. We work collaboratively to ensure that our customers receive tailored solutions that meet their specific needs. Our team is composed of skilled professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality results and driving customer satisfaction.
Main Location: Quito, Ecuador
Main Responsibilities:
• Support the Sales Team in the quotation process by identifying complex Spare Parts needs.
• Provide support to Sales team in elaborating proposals for customers.
• Generating customer specific solutions, specifications, and quotations according to Sales needs.
• Support Agreements and Agreement Sales in tailor madding solutions according to defined needs.
• Support and Preparing cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets.
• Evaluating technical and environmental risks of the solution.
• Ensuring that response time for sales inquiries / request / orders are met.
• Performing technical assistance to Account Managers, Agreement Managers and customers.
• Participating in relevant sales meetings with customers when required.
• Follow up the presented offers and defined KPIs.
• Provide support to Sales team elaborating proposals for customers using specific Sales Management Tools (CRM, AQUA, SAP).
• Collaboration with Sales Team and Agreement Manager to update engine running hours in CRM.
• Support invoicing process together with all stakeholders involved in this process.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Engineering is preferred.
- 3+ years of related experience in sales support or a related role.
- Strong understanding of technical and environmental aspects of sales solutions.
- Proficiency in Sales Management Tools (e.g., CRM, AQUA, SAP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
