We are looking for a SENIOR MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, 4-STROKE to join our dynamic field services team. As a SENIOR MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN, 4-STROKE, you will play a crucial role in performing routine equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnosing faults and defects in engines and auxiliary components.

Primary Location: Ecuador, Quito

This position involves constant travel for extended periods of 10 to 20 days, although travel periods may vary.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform routine repairs on damaged equipment through corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure proper machine operation.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance according to manual instructions, thus preventing future equipment issues.
• Use electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical tools (drills, hammers, grinders, multipliers, torque wrenches, welders, lifting equipment, pumps, and hydraulic jacks) to carry out necessary maintenance.
• Prepare detailed service reports.
• Collaborate with the supervisor in preparing and organizing assistance services, including arranging necessary tools and materials for maintenance and the service schedule.
• Ensure the care of tools and equipment under your responsibility, as well as maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in areas related to the processes.

Requirements:

• Technical studies in Mechanics or Electromechanics.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of 4-stroke engines used in power generation.
• Knowledge of engines, turbochargers, pumps, heat exchangers, fuel systems, lubrication systems, and cooling systems.
• Familiarity with maintenance procedures.
• Competence in handling tools and dimensional inspection of mechanical components.
• Skill in using hydraulic tools.
