Service Technician, 4 Stroke

As part of the Field Service Mechanical Team, the Service Technician, 4 Stroke will be designated to perform overhauls of Wärtsilä 4-stroke engines. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of experience and technical proficiency in the following areas:

Core Competencies:

- Rigging and lifting operations for engine components.
- Basic measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other high-accuracy tools.
- Mechanical cleaning of engine parts using approved methods and tools.
- Handling and use of hand tools for disassembly and reassembly.
- Basic knowledge of 4-stroke engine systems.

Language Requirement:

- Minimum English level A2 (Basic - Intermediate) for technical communication and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus):

- High-level welding skills, including structural and precision welding.
- Experience in field service operations, especially in oil & gas environments.
- Familiarity with medium and low-speed 4-stroke engines.
