We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our Service Delivery Operations of Gas Solutions team. In this position, you will report to the Service Delivery Operations Manager in Wärtsilä, and the location of the position is in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil.

 

What you will be doing?

You will establish and ensure good relations with customers. Daily, you will be in contact with sales and field service team to meet customers' needs. 
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have knowledge of the maritime business, SAP and Salesforce systems. You have a bachelor's degree in engineering and other professional achievements related to project/contract/client management. You are eager to support other team members to achieve common success. You can set your work’s priorities and work without supervision.

Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Close follow up and reporting of the portfolio financial status, including agreements, service missions and service projects. 
  • Coordinate single and/or standard Field Service work orders. 
  • Plan activities, resources, spare parts, costs and time schedule for the work orders.
  • Coordinate people when they are assigned on a work order.
  • Act as contact person for customer during the work order. 
  • Interact with relevant internal stakeholders in Gas Solutions. 
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures. 
  • Follow up and report the status of the work order to customer and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Building trust within the team, supporting growing department.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering completed
  • Experience in oil and gas/offshore business
  • Excellent communication skills and advanced English
  • Experience with budget management 
  • Knowledge of SAP and CRM (Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of maritime law (desirable)
  • Proactive approach and “can do” attitude
  • Able to work under pressure
