Dear All, 


We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills and mindset for a Financial Analyst position in Rio de Janeiro! Our team is a multi-cultural dynamic group of professionals and we are looking forward to welcoming a new member to strengthen our team.

 

In this position, you are reporting to Senior Manager – Project Development. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Participates in and provides support for our global project development activities with feasibility analyses and financial modeling in a reciprocating engine, energy storage, and hybrid power plants. 
  • Supports Wärtsilä’ s internal and external customers in conducting and presenting financial analyses and feasibility studies. 
  • Supports project development teams with the preparation of bid proposals and the process of negotiating power purchase agreements, fuel supply agreements, and project finance (debt and equity) 
  • Conducts energy market and country analyses that support project and market development initiatives
  • Able to read and interpret contracts/schedules in order to build a financial model according to contract 
  • Develops and maintains financial models and feasibility calculation tools. 


What it takes:

  • The ideal candidate has a degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business or Economics;
  • Fluent written and spoken English, 
  • Spanish will be a plus

 

Knowledge in:

  • Basic accounting rules, project financing, and every market;
  • Advanced skills in excel and MS office tools;
  • Desirable previous background in the regulatory framework of energy markets;
