We are looking for a Junior Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and safety-minded Maintenance Management team.

What will you be doing
As a Junior Maintenance Planner, you will be contributing to the general improvement of the Maintenance planning Team by supporting Maintenance Planners in their daily activities. Some of these activities are to prepare maintenance plans, create and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities and overhauls as well as maintaining good communication with Contract Managers and customers. The ideal candidate has an education in Mechanical / Productional engineering, basic experience with internal combustion diesel engines and a focused/can-do attitude and willing to travel (20% of annual workload).
Main responsibilities:
- Assist Maintenance planners in the preparation of maintenance plans for each contract in the assigned area of responsibility
- Learn and assist with planning and coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and overhauls
- Learn and assist in estimating the resources and competences needed for execution of the maintenance work in the field.
- Building and maintaining good communication with contract managers and customers external providers and other stakeholders in the Wärtsilä organization
- Understand the follow up work on executed and postponed maintenance tasks and improvements.
- Assist with the preparation of maintenance budgets for the annual contract budgeting on behalf of the customer
- Assisting in the development of our tools
- Learn and assist with Swing-set planning requirements and activities.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical / Productional engineering or related area.
- Basic knowledge/experience of engine functionality
- Structured and planned way of working
- Basic cost awareness.
- Advanced in written and spoken English
- Reliable and able to meet tight deadlines.
- IT skills will be a plus
- Good presentation skills
- The ability to analyze data and produce reports using Excel, and other MS products is highly desirable.
