Sales Manager

We are looking for a Sales Manager. This position will report to the General Manager, Sales and the location is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Your main responsibilities are:
• Manage the lifecycle sales activities and customer relationships to reach sales targets and customer satisfaction on a consultative sales base.
• Execute and manage complex end-to-end sales processes for assigned customers, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and business profitability.
• Engage with customers, developing long-term relationships.
• Understand customer needs and utilize in-depth knowledge of products and market trends to deliver tailored sales solutions.
• Identify opportunities for sales growth within assigned customers.
• Develop and implement sales plans and tactics to reach nominated targets and develop new business.
• Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
• Analyze market trends and customer data to identify sales opportunities and recommend strategies for market penetration. Utilizes advanced analytics to monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement, driving continuous enhancement of sales processes.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align sales activities with overall business operations and objectives.
• Execute sales initiatives and projects, contributing to implementation of sales plans and tactics.
• Collect and communicate market intelligence and competitor information.
• Create, maintain, and manage all customer visit reports and opportunities in CRM.
• Maintain accurate customer records among assigned customer accounts.
• Ensure that customer inquiry, orders, and complaints are responded to in a prompt and satisfactory manner.
You will shine in this role when you have:
• Extensive and strong experience in sales and customer relationship management for marine industry
• Bsc/Msc Engineering/Machinery or Business Administration are preferred
• Excellent commercial and negotiation capabilities
• Experience in successfully working with various stakeholders to deliver on customer expectation in international company
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, proficient Spanish that can be used as working language
• Knowledge of Salesforce or any kind of CRM process/system
