We are seeking a Senior Operations Expert to act as a subject matter expert in 4-stroke engines and power plant operations, providing proactive operational advisory and promoting mechanical and E&A services through innovative and value-adding solutions.
The role ensures full alignment with both internal and external customer requirements while supporting the achievement of company operational and business objectives.
The selected professional will perform advanced remote troubleshooting for 4-stroke engines, auxiliary systems, and E&A products, in accordance with customer operational needs. Responsibilities also include conducting remote site assessments and delivering analytical reports based on operational data, performance trends, and technical findings.
This position operates primarily in a remote support capacity, with occasional travel required as needed.
In this role, you will report to the Area Manager, Operations Management Support AMER.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Fluent written and spoken English (preferred)
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Contractual and commercial awareness
- Strong customer and business understanding
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles applied to operations
- Experience in fuel, lubrication oil, and water management
- Operations management experience
- Control room operations knowledge
- Advanced expertise in 4-stroke engines
- Knowledge of auxiliary systems
- Engine control systems expertise
- Performance monitoring and trend analysis capability
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and process flow diagrams
