We are strengthening our Parts Coordination Management team in Norway and are looking for a structured and motivated Coordinator to join us.

The location for this position is in Rubbestadneset, Bømlo, Norway. 

What will you be doing in this position?

Your work will focus on being the customer contact for spare parts quotations, orders, deliveries and non-conformities while acting as a link between the customers and the various Wärtsilä departments involved in the spare parts delivery process. 

For you to succeed in the position, you are good in coordinating and prioritising daily activities and urgent requests with relevant colleagues in order to find a satisfactory solutions. You will proactively propose ideas and speed up deliveries. 


As a Coordinator, Parts Coordination Management, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Handle and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures, guidelines, and local requirements
  • Ensure highest level of quality and response time for quotes and orders
  • Actively follow-up quotes with customers before they expire and provide feedback to Sales team
  • Actively follow-up the order book with the Sales team
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs
  • Follow up and communicate parts deliveries information accordingly in a timely manner to customers
  • Liaise with Sales about the content and terms of the offerings
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs


To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bsc in Supply Chain, Logistics or Order Book Management or relevant working experience in related fields
  • Experience in customer service, both internal and external
  • Appreciation of the challenges faced in today's global supply chains
  • The ability to work as part of an effective team
  • Eye for detail and used to working with and raising purchase orders, validating invoices and parts lists
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in the English language, both verbal and written. Fluency in Norwegian is considered an advantage
  • Parts Coordination Management related experience would be considered advantageous
