To our workshop in Rubbestadneset, Bømlo Wärtsilä Norway is looking for a Mechanic specialised within machining.

 

As a machining mechanic at our spare part production you will be responsible of machining related to new production of parts and overhaul of components. At the same time you will be responsible of creating reports and documentation related to this.

 

Our ideal candidate have good knowledge and competence related to manual and CNC controlled machines. You have the skills to make decisions and are working independently. At the same time you have the skills to be a service minded team player who interact in a good way towards our customers and colleagues. You are structured and able to understand and solve challenges. As a company, we focus on our customers’ needs and satisfaction, which means that you set high standards for quality and productivity.

 

To be succesful in this role we expect you to have:

Certificate of apprenticeship, machining

Good knowledge and documented experiences form work related to machining

Good Norwegian- and English knowledge, oral and writing

Experience related to creating reports and documentation

Til vår Workshop på Rubbestadneset, Bømlo søker Wärtsilä Norway AS etter en Maskinarbeider innenfor fagområdet maskinering.

Som Maskinarbeider i vår sparepart avdeling vil du utføre maskinering innenfor nyproduksjon og komponentoverhaling,  samt utarbeide rapporter og dokumentasjon.

 

Det er ønskelig at Kandidaten vi ser etter har:

 

God kjennskap til  maskinering i manuelle og CNC styrte maskiner.

 

Du må ha evner til å ta beslutninger samt kunne arbeide selvstendig og i team og du må være serviceinnstilt.

 

Som selskap fokuserer vi på våre kunders behov og tilfredshet, noe som betyr at du setter høye standarder for kvalitet og produktivitet.  

 

Du har derfor egenskapene som skal til for å kunne samhandle både med våre kunder og dine kollegaer.  I tillegg må du være strukturert samt forstå og kunne løse problemer.

 

Arbeidet utføres primært i vårt maskinerings verksted.

 

Det forventes at rette kandidat viser fleksibilitet og kan bistå andre avdelinger ved behov.

 

Opplæring på Wärtsilä sine produkter og systemer vil bli gitt.

 

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner:

  • Utdannelse innen fagfeltet;  fagbrev innen maskinering.
  • God kjennskap og dokumentert erfaring fra arbeid med maskinering.
  • Gode norsk- og engelskkunnskaper, muntlig og skriftlig.
  • Erfaring med utarbeiding av rapporter/dokumentasjon.
