Mechanic
Wärtsilä Norway AS is looking for Mechanics to join our Field Service Workshop at Rubbestadneset (Bømlo), Norway.
What you will be doing
As an Industrial mechanic at our department your responsibilities will be:
- Repair and overhaul of engines, gears and propellers, as well as other rotating machinery
- Disassembly and assembly of mechanical components
- Written reporting
To be successful in this role we expect you to have:
The candidates we are looking for have practice and experience in repair and overhaul of engines, gear and propellers as well as other rotating machinery. You have good basic mechanical skills.
As a company we are focused on our customers’ needs and satisfaction, which means that you set quality and productivity standards high. You are good in interacting with your customers through
work execution, as well as flexible regarding when to work in the Workshop. Some travelling must be expected.
You have a technical certificate in mechanical subjects (industrial mechanic or motorman) as well as work experience.
We are looking for you who has relevant work experience, with a lot of motivation and the right personal characteristics needed to succeed.

Til vår Field Service Workshop avdeling på Rubbestadneset (Bømlo) søker Wärtsilä Norway AS etter mekanikere.
Som industrimekaniker hos oss vil dine arbeidsoppgaver blant annet være:
- Reparasjon og overhaling av motorer, gir, propeller og motorkomponenter
- Demontering og montering av mekaniske komponenter
- Skriftlig rapportering
Kvalifikasjoner og egenskaper:
Kandidatene vi ser etter har praksis og erfaring innen reparasjon og overhaling av motorer, gir, propeller og andre roterende motorkomponenter. Du har derfor gode grunnleggende mekaniske ferdigheter.
Som selskap fokuserer vi på våre kunders behov og tilfredshet, noe som betyr at du setter høye standarder for kvalitet og produktivitet. Du har egenskapene som skal til for å kunne samhandle med våre kunder gjennom arbeidsutførelsen. I tillegg er du fleksibel i forhold til arbeid i Workshop.
Skiftarbeid må påregnes.
Det er ønskelig at du har fagbrev innen mekaniske fag (Industrimekaniker eller motormann).
