Project Sales Manager

For our Sales Team in Norway, we are now looking for a highly motivated and skilled Project Sales Manager. In this role, you will work together with 15 highly competent team members with responsibilities within Service Sales, Project Sales and Newbuild Sales, reporting to Head of Sales Norway. The preferred location for the position is Rubbestadneset, Norway but Oslo, Norway is also a possible location. 


As Project Sales Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Maintain and further develop new and existing customer relationships
  • Identify and develop new sales projects, support decarbonization with a consultative and collaborative approach
  • Drive sales performance by executing end-to-end sales process, engaging with customers and internal resources, utilising in-depth knowledge of products and market to deliver tailored solution that brings value to both the customer and Wärtsilä
  • Sales project development, budgeting and offer preparation

 

Who are we looking for?


We believe you are proactive, self-driven and have a commercial mindset. You have excellent customer relationship skills and is capable of building and leveraging your network. You enjoy working in a dynamic and skilled team, but you are also capable of independent work. If you in addition have passion for the maritime industry and sustainability, we believe you are a good fit!


You will shine in this role, when you have:

 

  • Experience from marine or Oil&Gas industry 
  • Experience from engineering, technical sales or project management  
  • Experience from B2B sales, Business Development, Project Sales or Sales Account Management
  • Excellent communication skills, both in English and Norwegian
  • A passion for reducing marine carbon footprint
