Service Coordinator


Business Unit Parts and Field Service is a global organisation with harmonised ways of working and tools to deliver the best possible services for our customers. We are now looking for a dynamic Service Coordinator to join our skilled Field Service Coordination team. The role is offered as a permanent contract and will be based in Rubbestadneset, Norway


What will you be doing?


As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating field service activities, ensuring efficient and effective deployment of services and resources to meet customer needs and operational demands.

You have a structured and efficient way of working, thriving in an interactive and fast-paced work environment. Your responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to: 

  • Planning and coordinating Field Service jobs and projects, ensuring quality of job preparations and subsequently controlling the field service works execution.
  • Acting as point of contact for customers throughout work orders, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Following up and reporting work order statuses to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Continuously updating the tools used for Field Service management and reporting.
  • Ensuring that service jobs are completed within agreed time frame and budget.
  • Closely cooperating with other departments and stakeholders to meet defined targets.
  • Ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with local requirements, site procedures, and Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
  • Providing input to development of HSE processes, tools, competencies, and ways of working to secure stakeholder satisfaction and secure defined targets.
     

The following will enable you to succeed in this role:

  • Ideally marine/propulsion systems
  • An understanding and ideally hands on experience of structured maintenance operations#
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive and structured approach to work, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Customer-oriented and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong Norwegian and English language skills, both spoken and written.
