We are looking for a Temporary Helper to our workshop in Sagvåg, with a main responsibility in supporting production capacity and ensuring smooth daily operations.
The preferred location for this position is Sagvåg, Norway.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Temporary Helper, your work will include tasks that help ensure stable and efficient production. You will contribute to the workshop by ensuring delivery capacity by covering sick leave, leave periods, and holidays so production lines run as planned and delivery deadlines are met.
Typical tasks include:
Mechanical assembly:
- Assemble plate systems, rails, and mounting structures
- Assemble components such as circuit breakers, contactors, motor protection switches, and relays
- Make cut-outs and install door and enclosure equipment
Cable routing and wiring:
- Route cables between components
- Cut and strip cables
- Sort and prepare cable types according to drawings
Labeling:
- Label components, cables, and terminal blocks
- Use labeling machines (Brother, Phoenix Contact, etc.)
Logistics and material handling:
- Unpack goods and place them in the correct location
- Pick parts for assemblers
Order and cleanliness (5S):
- Keep the workspace clean
- End the day with a tidy-up check
Requirements for the position
- Ongoing studies of electrical engineering, automation or other relevant technical education
- Interest in electrical engineering and practical hands-on work
- English and Norwegian language skills
- Willingness and ability to step in during peak periods and holidays
