Workshop Engineer

Our Service Workshop in Grunnavågen (Sagvåg) Wärtsilä Norway AS is looking for an engaged Workshop Engineer. 


This is a permanent position and is located in Sagvåg, Norway

 

What you will be doing

 

Wärtsiläs workshop in Grunnavågen produces low-voltage and high-voltage switchboards, ship automation, and propeller control systems. Our preferred candidate has the qualities needed for interaction both with our customers and your colleagues. You are also flexible in performing other and random work in the workshop. There will be opportunities to travel on work assignments.

  • Quality consciousness: Attention to detail and commitment to delivering work of the highest standard.

  • Good attitude towards QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety): Understanding of and commitment to maintaining high standards in these areas.
  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively in both Norwegian and English.
  • Relevant certificates
  • Previous experience is an advantage

Vår foretrukne kandidat har egenskapene som skal til for samhandling både med kunder og

kollegaer. Du er også fleksibel i forhold til å utføre annet og forefallende arbeid i Workshop. Det vil være muligheter for å reise på jobboppdrag.

 

Formell kompetanse:

- Fagbrev innen tavlemontørfaget/automasjonsfaget eller annet relevant fagbrev.

- Det er en fordel om du har praksis og erfaring innen bygging/produksjon av tavler.

 

Som person er du løsnings- og resultatorientert, selvstendig, ryddig, kvalitetsbevisst, omgjengelig og samarbeidsvillig. Du har også gode holdninger til HMS. I tillegg er det krav til både norsk og engelsk.
