Predictive Engineer

Predictive Engineer

Location: San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico
 

Overview:
The Predictive Engineer will provide support to the maintenance department to maintain plant equipment availability and reliability indicators at the company's required standards. This role involves adopting preventive, predictive, and reliability-based maintenance strategies through methodologies based on the accurate collection and analysis of information and data, and establishing flows and processes that incorporate quality control and assurance routines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the implementation for Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Develop advanced predictive models to improve the capacity for early fault detection.
  • Develop and follow up on processes/flows for data gathering.
  • Perform data analysis and statistical analysis of failure data.
  • Conduct non-destructive tests and field tests.
  • Establish and maintain quality control and quality assurance procedures.
  • Perform fluid analysis, including cooling water and lube oil health analytics.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in developing predictive models and data analysis.
  • Experience with non-destructive testing methods and field testing.
  • Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance procedures.
  • Ability to perform fluid analysis and interpret results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and tools.
     

Skills:

  • Advanced analytical skills for data interpretation and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and assurance processes.
  • Ability to conduct fluid analysis and interpret health analytics.
  • Excellent project management and continuous improvement skills.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with maintenance teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies based on reliability principles.
