We are looking for a Technical Advisor – Operations & Maintenance

This roll will be responsible for providing specialized technical advice to internal and external clients, ensuring the proper execution of maintenance tasks and the effective resolution of technical issues. Lead and develop work teams as a Line Manager, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Information: 

• Location: San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, Mexico
• Work model: on-site
• Type of contract: Permanent
• Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide specialized technical support and guidance.
• Conduct technical analyses to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate the assigned technical team.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, as well as corporate procedures.
• Coordinate technical activities with clients and other departments within the organization.
• Prepare and present technical and executive reports.
• Participate in technical reviews, audits, and continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor performance indicators and develop action plans to optimize results.

Minimum requirements to apply: 

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, Naval Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English communication skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Supervisor, Coordinator, or Line Manager.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in specialized Operations & Maintenance roles.
• Proven experience in technical analysis, diagnostics, and complex problem-solving.

Technical Knowledge:

• Interpretation of drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Management of maintenance, operations, or technical services.
• Preparation and review of technical reports.
• Compliance with safety standards.
• Operational and technical performance indicators (KPIs).
• Proficiency in digital tools and technical management systems.
