FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR, Central Region
We are looking for a FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR to join our dynamic, fast-paced Field Service team for the Energy business. The desired location must be based in Dominican Republic.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mecatronic or Mechanical Engineering, Wartsila product knowledge, and experience in coordination and resources of Field Service activities and resources.
As a FIELD SERVICE COORDINATOR, you will focus on these responsibilities:
- Coordinate standard Field Service work orders.
- Plan activities, resources, spare parts, costs and time schedule for work order.
- Coordinate technical people when assigned on a work order.
- Manage operative daily activities locally within assigned responsibility.
- Cooperate and interact with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Act as contact person for customer and internal stakeholders during the work order.
- Follow-up and report the status of the work order to customer or relevant internal stakeholders.
- Maintain tools under own responsibility in good condition, carrying out assigned tool's preventive maintenance as per specifications.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
- Work in accordance with business and all Wärtsilä guidelines.
- Comply with the management system accordingly to what has been implemented locally for her/his position.
- Perform all activities needed to reach the objectives of the position and comply with the orders, instructions, values and company policies applicable as employee and/or the position.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have these skills:
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Mechanical Engineering or related experience
- Intermidiate English Level (B2 or higher)
- Experience in planning and scheduling field service operations, including resource allocation and cost management.
- Proven track record of managing technical personnel and ensuring the successful completion of service orders.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and tool management.
- Experience in customer interaction and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to follow and enforce quality, health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
