CNC Machining Operator (Schiedam, NL)

As a CNC operator, your work will consist of machining and deburring. On a typical day, you might machine one or several pieces.

You will not be working on this alone - even though the work requires a high level of independence, you will have the support from your supervisor and your teammates.

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have a good understanding of manufacturing standards and experience working with CNC machines.

As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from other manufacturing environments, and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

For you to succeed in the position, we hope you to have a good attitude and willingness to learn.

Do you have experience as a CNC milling machine? Do you know Heidenhein or Fanuc software?

In this function you responsible for:

•    The safety for yourself and others

•    CNC machine programming and editing

•    Tooling and fixture set-up
•    Use of measuring equipment
•    Quality checking own work
•    Use of engineering machinery [i.e. pillar drills, hand tools, bandsaw etc.]
•    Deburring
•    Use of overhead cranes
•    Continuous improvement relating to process and procedures.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
•    CNC machining knowledge.
•    Experience working with engineering drawings.
•    Experience working with Conventional Turner.
