We are now looking for a
 
Senior Service Engineer Field
 
to join our team in to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Schiedam, The Netherlands.
  
As Senior Service Engineer Field you will focus on these responsibilities:  

 

  • Commissioning and Service regarding the whole spectrum on the area of Navigation and Automation systems
  • System checks of complex equipment/ constructions within ship building projects
  • Coordination and carrying out the bringing into service as well as the necessary adjustments according to the customer requirements and respectively to our warranty obligations
  • Accompanying the test drive and if necessary going with the ship as warranty engineer
  • Presentation and handing in of equipment’s systems to the ship owner, shipyard and the classification societies
  • Carrying out repairs and installations inclusive the necessary configuration/parameterization and order processing

  
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:  

 

  • Preferably you hold  a technical degree in a relevant area (electrical, automatization, navigation) or equivalent
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in comparative positions
  • Structured and practical way of working with hands-on-attitude
  • Excellent social and intercultural skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently around the world
