Talent Acquisition Partner

Within Talent Acquisition we are aligning ourselves to help Wärtsilä accelerate the decarbonisation of the marine and energy industries by recruiting talent faster, better and bolder than before. As part of this drive we now have a dedicated Talent Segment Team within which we aim to further develop pro-active recruiting to support key talent segments within Wärtsilä.

 

Within this team we now have an opportunity a Talent Acquisition Partner to join us on an18 month fixed term contract, and the preferred location is Schiedam, the Netherlands.

 

Your role will focus on:

 

  • Ownership of end-to-end recruiting cycle for all vacancies in defined talent segment within your specified region, recommending cost-effective techniques and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and processes
  • Support the business with high level expertise on relevant market intelligence e.g. external candidate market, benefits and working conditions to ensure Wärtsilä can remain competitive in the market
  • Provide recommendations on qualification criteria for each position and ensuring a highly effective and engagement assessment process
  • Delivering coaching and/or training to upskill our hiring managers in becoming knowledgeable in recruiting
  • Support candidate interviews where necessary during various hiring stages including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
  • Increase our connection with target talent pools to ensure Wärtsilä is seen as the company of choice for professionals wishing to grow their career
  • Align sourcing with Wärtsilä’ Employee Value Proposition “Fuel Your Power”, and support creation of specific employer brand messaging and communication plans for these
  • Utilise direct sourcing methods to attract and engage with high-quality candidates whilst ensuring a world-class candidate experience
  • Support recruitment process by writing compelling job adverts, posting these and promoting our opportunities on relevant social media according to brand and Employee Value Proposition
  • Develop effective relationships with key recruitment agencies and, setting KPIs, managing engagement, tracking performance and measuring quality
  • For niche and senior roles taking responsibility of sourcing, assessing and interviewing candidates

 

 

Who we are looking for:

 

  • Demonstrated success within engineering recruitment ideally within energy or marine industries and within international blue chip companies
  • Proven track record in creating proactive sourcing strategies, talent pools and candidate engagement plans
  • Knowledge of market drivers and adept at working around challenges to ensure we attract the right talent for our business
  • An excellent communicator that takes pride in providing an outstanding candidate and manager experience
  • The ability to manage multiple hiring cycles across multiple hiring managers with a high attention to customer experience
  • In addition to English, you will ideally be fluent in one or more of the following languages: Dutch, Finnish, Italian, Polish
