Manager, Strategic Innovation

This is a permanent opportunity and preferred locations are Singapore or Shanghai, China.

 

What will you be doing:
As Manager, Strategic Innovation, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Identify growth opportunities through internal and external business intelligence sources.
  • Provide commercial, market and business intelligence to evaluate the opportunities for best fit, value and return on investment against upfront defined technical and resource commitments.
  • Partner with business leaders and customers to identify areas for future business growth and source appropriate co-creation opportunities as needed to meet and exceed business growth ambition.
  • Evaluate and communicate business value through multiple levels and channels; assemble a project team to ensure successful execution of strategy/project.
  • Communicate with internal and external project stakeholders to manage expectations, ensure business and strategic alignment and document progress for key projects.
  • Other duties and growth opportunities

 
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Solid understanding of Chinese language.
  • Consulting background 
  • Knowledge of Maritime or Ports
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience working with commercial data, business intelligence. 
  • Problem Solver
  • Number cruncher’ 
  • Proficiency in Chinese is a nice to have
