Your main responsibilities are

  • Source and negotiate best service providers both for transportation and supply chain
  • Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
  • Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
  • Communicate with service providers to achieve profitable deliveru terms and conditions
  • Supervises orders and arranges stocking of raw materials for the production needs
  • Cooperate and book forwarding companies and couriers based on best delivery terms
  • Provide shipment requirement completion:
    • Prepare the main documentary set of shipments (invoices, packing lists),
    • Apply for  Certificates of origin
    • Cooperate with Project Manager, Warehouse manager/team leader, Export compliance specialist with regard to shipment requirement completion (packing requirements, delivery modes and opportunities, documents needed etc.)
  • Ensure smooth export/import operations by contacting customs agents
  • Update delivery schedule to warehouse.
  • Update delivery date on shipments when changes occur to Operations and Project organization
  • Follow company policies and requirements set
  • Report, communicate and escalate timely on changes/suggestions/problems to  Logistics Director
  • Adhere to internal company and functional policies and procedures.  The responsibilities listed are illustrative and not exhaustive, and management may designate further reasonable tasks where needed.

 

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • +2 years of qualified logistics.
  • Logistics IT knowledge
  • Microsoft Dynamics and SAP strong knowledge, any export registration tool skills and knowledge
  • Good command of spoken and written in English
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
