Project Engineer

Your main responsibilities are

  • Project specific installation and system planning
  • Manage (plan, steer, follow-up, analyze and report) contracted projects in close co-operation with the Project Manager
  • Prepare and provide the customer with the project specific Documentation / information,
  • Offer strong technical support to customer (shipyard, ship designer and ship owner) for contracted projects.
  • Maintain the daily contacts with the customer in close co-operation with the Project Manager
  • Provide technical support in the pre-project stage

Education:

  • Technical background (BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical & Automation Engineering)
  • Fluent skills in English, both oral and written

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience
  • Practical experience from shipyard or shipbuilding industry, technical knowledge of diesel engines, propulsion, onboard marine and/or offshore installations will be considered as an important merit.
