Project Engineer

Your main responsibilities are

  • Provide technical sales support at the pre-project stage on request
  • Participate in the process of preparing the Contract for execution
  • Maintain customer contacts during project execution
  • Participate when possible in the Project Review and initiate the kick-off(s)
  • Manage (plan, steer, follow-up, analyze and report) contracted projects in close co-operation with the Project Manager
  • Provide the Customer with documentation (Installation Planning Instructions) which the Customer needs to be able to carry out the installation planning and maintain the daily contacts concerning this issue with the Customer in close co-operation with the Project Manager
  • Monitor and alarm the risks foreseen in the contracted projects
  • Co-operate in all aspects with the Project Manager

 

You will shine in this role when you have:

  • Work as project engineer within the team of Customer Delivery, Power Supply, and cooperate with other team members in project
  • Mainly take care project of Power Supply&Propulsion product in Wartsila China
  • Main job are for project document preparing, place equipment order, technical communication with customer
  • Technical background in marine, 3-5 years experience
  • Worked as designer, production supervisor in shipyard or design company is preferred
