What are your main tasks and responsibilities?
- Act on all related purchasing activities for the assigned products and their components.
- To make sure that all components and documentation is available at needed time at the chosen subcontractor or warehouse in order to secure on time delivery.
- To act on price increases that are not in line with the scope of the project and to take action where needed.
- To monitor your project orders and measure quality level, delivery reliability, costs and lead time.
- To verify long and short-term forecasts alignment with Supply Chain Management.
- To communicate your project status updates on weekly basis with all involved stakeholders and be in contact with our suppliers worldwide to solve day-to-day issues.
What do we expect from you?
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Technical Business Administration or similar.
- Preferably you already have some experience within a purchasing position within a technical and production related working environment with an international character.
- You have experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
- You are a good negotiator with solid communication skills.
- Sense for business, experience working in project teams and you are familiar with deadlines and targets.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
