Your Main Responsibilities Are
- Always act in a safe manner.
- Participating in Project Handover meetings to support "Warranty Expert" in taking over the product to warranty.
- Responsible for maintaining an overview of all claims from the designated customer (e.g. SY)
- Actioning resolution of claims agreed with "Warranty Expert" for claim investigation and find all potential solutions with local internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining claim status within the appropriate warranty tools and systems to ensure warranty team are kept updated.
- Facilitate the claim handling process with SY's and Owners.
- Minimise down-time for Wartsila's customers and secure a cost-effective way of working.
- Arranging local meetings regularly with customer to close efficiently as many claims as possible.
- Utilize internal network, facilitate and take active part in customer support.
- Constantly share lessons learned, between different installations, to improve the product quality.
- Collaborate closely with local project team to ensure continuity and "one voice" towards our customers.
You will shine in this role when you have:
- Bachelor/Master's degree in one of the Engineering fields.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the Maritime, Oil & Gas or Energy industries.
- Willing to work not purely with technical issues, but also with planning, financial and contractual subjects.
- Good working knowledge of project & technical documentation like P&ID's, datasheets and drawings.
- Systematic, structured and broad orientation.
- Excellent negotiation skills in client & supplier communications and multi-tasks.
- Technical, commercial and contractual knowledgeable.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work and take decision under pressure and stay organised.
- Ability to cooperate with people from different cultures.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
