Sales Engineer

As Sales Engineer for PTO PTI Hybrid Solution your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Bid management (communication with global sales, customers, making technical selections, single line diagrams, cost calculations. configurations, specifications and Quotations), either standalone or in bundles/solutions.
  • Presenting and negotiating Technical Proposals with customers.
  • Responsible for product deviation lists.
  • Making Document Delivery Schedules, weight lists, responsibility matrices, etc. for contract finalisation.
  • Responsible for the technical integrity and correctness of the offered solution in the sales phase.
  • Accountable for correct cost estimates.


You will shine in this role when you have:

  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills, focused on achieving results as a team effort.
  • Continuous improvement and Operational Excellence mindset.
  • Good understand of Ship Electrification Solutions (SES) products and systems such as shaft generator systems, shore connections, power and energy management systems (especially variable speed drives including DC Bus and battery applications).
  • Good understanding of customer and its business.
  • Experience in multicultural working environment.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Cost awareness & effectiveness.
