Sales Engineer

Your main responsibilities are

  • Bid management (communication with global sales, customers, making technical selections, single line diagrams, cost calculations,

configurations, specifications and Quotations), either standalone or in bundles/solutions.

  • Presenting and negotiating Technical Proposals with customers.
  • Responsible for product deviation lists
  • Making Document Delivery Schedules, weight lists, responsibility matrices, etc. for contract finalisation
  • Responsible for the technical integrity and correctness of the offered solution in the sales phase.
  • Accountable for correct cost estimates.


You will shine in this role when you have:

  • Strong organizational skills, focused on achieving results as a team effort
  • Continuous improvement and Operational Excellence mindset
  • Good understand of Ship Electrification Solutions (SES) products and systems (especially variable speed drives including DC Bus applications) and basic
  • Understanding of other Ship Electrification Solutions (SES) Products such as shaft generator systems, shore connections and energy management systems
  • Good understanding of customer and its business
  • Experience in multicultural working environment
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Cost awareness & effectiveness
