Your main responsibilities are
- Generate customer specific solutions, specifications and quotations according to needs of Sales, for SLS portfolio for New Build and Aftermarket business .
- Mange Bidding process
- Evaluate inquires and register/maintain opportunity information in CRM
- Prepare cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets for FS.
- Assist with technical evaluation and environmental risks of the solution with sales and customer.
- Ensure that response time for sales inquiries / request /orders are met.
- Provide support and respond to technical queries raise by sales and customers.
- Participate in relevant sales meetings with customers when required.
- Organize a hand over meeting with involved stakeholders.
You will shine in this role when you have:
- BSc. in Engineering or in other related Engineer disciplines.
- At least 1 year working experience in marine and offshore industry will be an added advantage.
- Have good knowledge of MS Office and CRM (Salesforce) applications.
- Chinese verbal and written, with good command of English, verbal and written, other language skills are considered as a benefit.
- Has a continuous learning mentality and drive performance with positive can-do attitude.
- The candidate should be willing and able to travel.
- Understand the value of collaboration and benefits it brings.
- An excellent team-player who can work closely with local & global team of internal stakeholders & external customers.
- Excellent interpersonal skill and capability of building business relationships.
- High attention to detail and comprehension, while maintaining a proactive and flexible mindset.
It would be seen as a plus that you have:
- Knowledge of regional market & products (lip & mechanical seal / bearings and other shaft line equipment).
- Understand and drive Wärtsilä purpose and demonstrate Wärtsilä values.
- Technical & Engineering knowledge will be an added advantage.
