Service Coordinator takes care of managing and planning of Field Service activities according to contract and customer requirements as well as quality, health, safety and environmental and cost targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction in all activities.
This is a permanent role located in Shanghai, China, reporting to FS Operations Manager.
Your main responsibilities are
- Manage and coordinate Field Service activities.
- Plan activities, resources, spare parts, costs and time schedule for work order.
- Coordinate people when they are assigned on a work order.
- Act as contact person for customer during the work order.
- Interact with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
- Follow-up and report the status of the work order to customer or relevant internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring FS margin on work order, proactively initiate cost saving actions.
- Preparing of FS work order for invoicing, debriefing, service record files maintaining after completion.
- Close cooperation with FS related functions e.g., FS Resources and Workshops.
- Ensuring continuous quality development and process optimization.

- Strong safety-first mind-set.
- Technical background related to Marine Engineering with Field Services experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills, negotiation skills and customer understanding.
- Good organizational skills and customer empathy, combined with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Demonstrable team working skills and the ability to adjust and re-plan in dynamic situations.
- Strong Cost awareness & effectiveness.
- Strong ability to delegate, follow directions and work under pressure.
- Reporting and analysing skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin & English.
- College degree or above.
