Service engineer (2-Stroke)

Your main responsibilities are:
- Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.
- Perform overhauls and repairs on assemblies on site and/or in workshops.
- Interact professionally with customers during the work execution.
- Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
- Create the Service Work Reports.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures and policies.
- Follow-up and report on the status of work orders to customer and/or internal stakeholders.
- Continuously seek for solutions in according to best practices.
You will shine in this role when you have:
- Knowledge on 2 stroke low speed diesel engine.
- Perform Maintenance & overhauling 2 Stroke engine and relative equipment/system on field according to instruction manual.
- Installation and troubleshooting of problems on 2 Stroke diesel engine and other relevant equipment according to instruction manual.
- Provide local technical support to customers for diesel engine and other relevant equipment operation.
- Be able to handle pressure and make decision independently when required.
- Negotiation and team working skills.
- Fluent in English and Chinese with relevant additional language skills beneficial.
- You are located in Shanghai/Guangzhou, willing and able to travel inside China frequently and outside of China if necessary.
