Assistant Manager, QEHS

 What will you be doing:

As Assistant Manager, QEHS, your work will focus on these responsibilities, including supporting WSG QEHS Manager:

  • Coach the local operation team on QEHS matters
  • Execute and monitoring QEHS objectives
  • Implement the QEHS Management system as per global guidance
  • Deploy Global QEHS initiatives
  • Deliver EHS training programs
  • Plan and execute internal audits
  • Conduct regular quality, safety, and environment audits
  • Lead / Participatie in incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
  • Train emergency response teams & execute emergency drills
  • Verify, monitor & comply EHS legal compliance & support for statutory medical examinations, industrial hygiene monitoring etc
  • Facilitate RCA for quality non-conformities, quality flash
  • Follow up customer feedback (CEM)
  • Execute QEHS communication
  • Make sustainability report
  • Drive Wärtsilä Continuous Improvement (WCI)

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering or other QEHS education or WSH Certification (Level A or B)
  • Other relevant certifications (WSH Certification Level C or D, Fire Safety, Occupational First Aid) is an added advantage.
  • Min 3 years of technical experience or QEHS experience
  • Understanding of Wärtsilä Business operations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve QEHS objectives
  • Proficiency with MS Office application
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive Wärtsilä Purpose and demonstrate Wärtsilä values
