Cyber Security Business Development Director

Our Cyber Security team is now looking for a Cyber Security Business Development Director for the Middle East and Asia region. The position is located in Singapore.
 
In this position you will be working in close cooperation with the local sales team as well as the regional service agreement teams.


As a Business Development Director you are responsible to promote and sell the cyber security as-a-service solutions (eg MCERT) to marine clients based in the MEA region. In a second phase there is a possibility to expand the responsibility to the rest of the world

 

The responsibilities of the incumbent include:
• Develop offerings for cyber security as-a-service
• Work in close relation with our UK partner Templar on the development of MCERT, the cyber solution for the marine industry
• Design and implement local market strategy for the sale of MCERT
• Draw a strategy and action plan for sale of cyber security as-a-service and implement tactical plan
• Feedback end user requirements to the technical team for future developments

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following traits:
• Hold a BSc preferably with a technical background or proven experience in a technical working environment.
• Proven track-record in and genuine interest to develop and drive the sales. Ideally 5-8 years minimum experience of Services or Business sales, having real ability to listen to customer, being curious and creative to generate opportunities and then converting them into Sales
• Good cultural knowledge
• Ability to work independently
• Strong results orientation, self-driven personality with can-do attitude, able to challenge old habits
• Capacity to lead, negotiate and close large deals with multiple stakeholders involved
• Ability to comprehend customers' business, excellent industry, market and to understand customer centricity
• Structured and systematic way of working with hard working attitude delivering quality
• Good understanding of international business and the willingness to travel extensively
• Fluent written and spoken English, other languages seen as an advantage
• Solid presentation skills
