Engagement and Product Lead

The Engagement and Product Lead will be responsible for developing and executing engagement strategies to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of our products. This role requires a deep understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with product management, sales, and other teams.

 

What will you be doing
As a Engagement and Product Lead, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive engagement plans and strategies.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Create compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for the relevant market but also for creating engagement among internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product management to define product features, benefits, and differentiators.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates.
  • Create and manage marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and whitepapers together with the centralized marketing team.
  • Work with the sales team to develop sales tools and training materials.
  • Manage and optimize input for digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and online advertising.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, other relevant parts of Wärtsilä and industry influencers.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in maritime.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
