Field Service Coordinator

We are looking for a Field Service Coordinator. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore. The Field Service Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting and executing the Service Work process for customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate logistics related to tools, spare parts and workshop services, according to plan from Maintenance planner, once green light received from customer. Secure QHSE and compliance for the work and parts
  • Keep important stakeholder informed like customer, contract manager, maintenance planner, field service coordinator, WGLS, and external suppliers informed about status/progress (daily/weekly/monthly status reports + lessons learned) - Order FS Jobs (Site & Workshop), Parts and Tools from FS/WGLS/Suppliers
  • Keep in close contact with the field service coordinator before, during and after the FS job is executed to secure that contractual commitments are met.
  • Timely and accurate reaction to assigned contractual customer requests.
  • Proactive in ordering and delivering parts, preparing tools shipments and coordinating workshop components on order that maintenance activities can be executed on time without any obstacles. Ensuring the needed are well received by the installation
  • Actively update the contract manager when issues occur.
  • Consolidate shipments to/from customer and arrange inbound/outbound transportation
  • Act proactively in case changes appear (scope/timing/location/destination/quantity...)
  • Consolidate service work reports through FS Coordinator and communicate to stakeholders
  • Seek help from Operational Support / Technical Services when needed
  • Review and approve costs and provide correct input for invoicing
  • Handle/channel possible claims related to field services / parts / tools
  • Direct customer contact for the logistics of tools, parts, cabins availability, permits and visa requirements.
  • Takes proactive actions towards the internal parts delivery organization be creative in getting the delivery done with an out of the box solution when needed.
  • Ensure that contractual requirements are adhered to WGLS (eg spare part discounts)
  • Being an active member of the contract core team

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Degree or Diploma in the field of marine engineering.
  • Good command of English, both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with customers and other stakeholders
