ILS Project Engineer, Automation
About the Position:
As a ILS Project Engineer, Automation, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Participating in engineering tasks as documentation and software, as well as in equipment deliveries and services.
- Facilitating technical solutions, including support for Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) documentation.
- Actively Participating in ILS meetings (also overseas)
- Creating ILS documentation as specified in the contract.
- Participating in internal project status and milestone reviews.
- Participating in project design review and integration review.
- Implementing quality assurance of deliveries, documentation, and software.
- Proactively working together with SAP Master Data team to update the files in SAP with component data and related documentation.
- Planning Supply Support in close cooperation with Sourcing and Obsolescence Management
- Coordinating ILS related Training Activities (in conjunction with training team)
- Providing Advice on any changes to designing and potential cost impacts.
- Supporting Navy vessel commissioning, test, and trials.
- Assisting other team members as required and promptly resolve Quality/Design issues.
- Supporting stakeholder management, of external and internal stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Diploma/ BSc. in a relevant specialization, e.g. mechanical, electrical, electronic or software engineering.
- Fluent English (communicate effectively in writing and verbally)
- Min 3 to 4 years of working experience in a relevant industry
- General Cyber security knowledge
- Knowledge of Serial Interface communication protocol
- Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Skilled in design tools such as AutoCAD, Eplan, Solidworks etc
- Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel overseas.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
