Metal Stitching Specialist / Foreman

We are looking for a Metal Stitching Specialist/Foreman. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

 

About the Position

Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Carry out metal stitching jobs locally and overseas
  • Prepare all tools and template required for metal stitching jobs
  • Carry out initial inspection of metal stitching jobs
  • Prepare service work reports after job completion
  • Assist with In-Situ machining jobs and other jobs as and when assigned by team leader or management
  • Must be able to interpret technical drawings and other technical documents to determine appropriate repair solutions.
  • Must execute all tasks with all prescribed safety equipment in place, and fully comply to QuantiServ / Wartsila Health & Safety rules and regulations.

 

Authorities:

  • Correctly and timely submission of time sheets and job-related claims
  • Job Capability Statement (if relevant)
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Quality & Safety conscious with the ability to meet productivity goals
  •  Willing and Able to travel overseas, on short notices

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • At least ITE certificate or O’ Level 
  • 5 years relevant working experience
