Project Technical Designer, Navy Automation

We are looking for a Project Technical Designer, who will join our naval project execution team in Singapore. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will be accountable for the performance of the technical projects' deliverables, as drawings, documents, and HMI design for OT systems.
  • Facilitate technical solutions, in close cooperation with the project team.
  • Advise on any changes to designing and potential cost impacts.
  • Work proactive to keep down the cost in balance with meeting the contractual requirements.
  • Participating in internal project status and milestone reviews.
  • Active participation in system design and in project meetings (also overseas, if required)
  • Responsible to follow the required quality and security procedures.
  • Assist other team members as required and promptly resolve Quality/Design issues.
  • Keep the confidentiality required in Naval contracts.
  • Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organisational skills.

 

Desired Skills:

  • English (communicate effectively in writing and verbally)
  • Diploma in Engineering, from a reputable polytechnical institute in either electric, electronics or mechanical engineering.
  • Skilled in design and documentation tools such as EPLAN, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to travel overseas.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
